Todd the Fox's Urgent Surgery

Todd is a 3 year old red fox. He lives an extremely lucky and enriched life and is an amazing creature who loves everyone he meets. Todd was raised from 2-weeks old and bottlefed by my boyfriend Dakota and relies entirely on humans. He knows nothing but love for us.
Earlier this month Todd started peeing blood. He was taken to the emergency vet and treated for a UTI. Today the blood came back with a vengeance and he was rushed to the vet again, given an X-ray, and large bladder stones were found which will require immediate surgery. He had an X-ray last year and had no problems, so this was a very sudden occurrence and we are very worried. For now he's getting pain meds to help get him through it. We're still waiting on a quote for surgery but his trips to the emergency vet have already cost hundreds. With that and the fact that Todd was just neutered as well, his care has cost around $1000 for this month alone. The surgery will likely be several thousand more.
This is something we normally wouldn't ask or accept but with Dakota just moving to a new country we don't have a lot of options and Todd needs immediate medical attention. The goal I set is only a part of the total costs we're looking at, but we do not want to rely on others for an animal we are responsible for. There is just not any other option at the moment.
