Toby is 6 months old. Very happy, loving, and healthy. He loves long walks and hiking! He brings a smile to everyone that meets him.
He went on his first backcountry camping trip early August and was the happiest pup.
He went on another backcountry trip and unfortunately fell ill at the end of the trip. He contracted a toxin or a disease that caused his kidney to eventually fail.
He was brought to the vet and was misdiagnosed after several visits.
He has been suffering since August 31st and is now in critical condition.
The hemodialysis therapy has a 50% chance of survival rate. The cost is approximately $20,000CDN depending on the outcome. His parents are not giving up on him.

He is in the intensive care unit at OVC Companion Animal Hospital in Guelph. We pray that he makes it through this.
