8" and 0.23 lbs
After 18 weeks of pregnancy, Toby went into early labor on December 2nd. She labored for 14 hours and birthed sweet baby Juniper at UCSF at 12:05pm on December 3rd. Sweet baby Juniper was still too tiny and young to survive outside Toby's body. She looks like Toby and is perfect and beautiful.
Kersh and Toby appreciate any and all support from their community as they grieve their daughter.
Message from Toby & Kersh:
"We are devastated. Life will never be the same. Every day was the best day of our lives with baby Juniper, and she has given us many gifts. She made us parents and we will always be her parents. We will take a long time to grieve and heal and we deeply appreciate the love and support you all have shown us, and continue to show us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your love, patience, support and care. Juniper would have loved to meet you."
Kersh and Toby will use any donations they receive to:
Defray medical costs
Cover memorial expenses
Pay for rent and health insurance while they take time off from work
Pay for emotional care and body care
