Toaster's Eye Surgery
Donation protected
Hello friends of Toaster! As you may know Toastie is a happy 11 year old doggo, but has been suffering from complications from an eye removal surgery that he underwent a few months ago. He was a rescue from the streets of San Francisco, California and was found with a punctured left eye. However, after, his surgery he's sustained an infection that countless visits to the vet and antibiotics have yet to cure.
The poor guy is going to need surgery again in the coming months. At the moment, I won't be able to afford to take care of Toaster given the high prices of the specialist visits and surgery. I worked three jobs this summer (usually ~12 hours, 6 days a week) in order to pay for expenses that are associated with getting and maintaining a lifestyle for a senior dog, but this was an unforeseable expense.
Anything you can give is so, so valued. He's the most important part of my life and my best friend. Not only that, but as a therapy dog at Colgate he means a lot to so many students on this campus. His little waddle and waggin' tail bring joy to the whole community.
Since Toaster is an older dog, I just hope to give him the best remaining years of his life. Toaster is the goodest boy out there and he deserves the world.
