Help Fernanda! Have a process full of smiles.

Tax deductible
Hello, my name is Fernanda Castillo Arce, I was born on September 13, 2017, I am four years old, I am from a town in Ensenada B.C, and I suffer from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

My family consists of my parents, my older brother and me. I live in a town near San Vicente, my mom is dedicated to take care of my brother and me, my dad works in animal care helping my grandfather, he earns around $4,800 pesos a month, with which we covered the household expenses, now that the expenses have increased by being away from home, the family has supported us by sending a little money.

It all started in December 2019, until then I had been a very healthy child, until I started having very high temperatures and my parents were alarmed and took me to a doctor in Ensenada. The doctor commented that due to the season it was most likely a respiratory problem and sent me home with antibiotics for infection, however, the fever did not go down and my family decided to take me to another doctor who immediately hospitalized me for pneumonia. I was hospitalized for three days, everything under control, but when I got home the fever started again. My parents, alarmed by the situation, kept looking for options and again we went to another doctor, this time they performed lab tests that gave bad prognosis results. The pediatrician referred us to the general hospital in Ensenada as an emergency, they did a biopsy and told my parents that it was Leukemia, so I was referred to Tijuana in search of treatment. My dad started looking for different options to find the best care for me, until he found the Castro Limón Foundation, there they reviewed my case and I was immediately accepted to start my treatment at the Pediatric Oncology Center of BC. I went through a period of induction to treatment where I was hospitalized for several weeks in an isolated room, only my parents could be with me to avoid any risk of infections. I had surgery to implant a catheter so that the medication could be administered through it and my veins would not be damaged.

Currently I remain as a patient in active treatment receiving my chemotherapy and punctually going to my hospital appointments, imaging studies, laboratory, etc., plus at home I also receive medicines and a lot of care.
My treatment budget is estimated at $705,000.00 which is equivalent to $36,153.84 Dlls.
Without considering complications or the remission phase.

My family and I would like to count on your donation for the process of my treatment, any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a big difference and for this reason, we will be completely grateful for your donation.
