To honour the beautiful Poppy-Mae.

Truth be told, I don't really know how to put the words together to describe the story of little Poppy-Mae. She wasn't really like anyone else I'd ever met, she was explosive, an absolute powerhouse of character, with only a short time here she touched the hearts of so many, those same hearts she has now left broken as we try to find a way to say goodbye.

Poppy-Mae came into this world with a wealth of medical challenges, and it wasn't for lack of trying that on Christmas Eve even the strongest of fighters was deemed too special to stay here with us any longer. As her parents Ali & Enner clamber through the ordeal of finding a ceremony fit for their princess, I wanted to put this page together to try and ensure that something as immaterial as money isn't an issue for them.

The messages of support have been overwhelming and a real testament to Poppy-Mae. I know it's a trying time of year for people's finances but I also know that many are eager to help, if you'd like to give whatever you are able then my hope is that as they try to move forward with the loss of Poppy-Mae they will not also fall on hard times financially.

I know that Ali will have her carers allowance now stripped from her, so all funds raised will go to Poppys funeral, a memory garden that Mum & Dad would like to create as a place to remember Poppy and to help with bills whilst they try to negotiate a new life without their little girl.

To Poppy-Mae: You were exceptional, you were absolutely perfect, we're sorry that you couldn't stay here with us beautiful girl but we will never ever forget you, how could we xx
