To Continue My Studies Of Music Education

I am Carlos Garcia from Guaymas, Mexico. I studying for my second year of a bachelor's degree in music education at The University Of Arizona. For seven years I worked in Mexico in the large social music program for children for seven years, rescuing lives through the music, therefore making a better future for these kids. In this work, I discovered my passion to educate music, I also had a bug opportunities to perform with renowned artist, like: Carlos Prieto, then received the last President Of Mexico: Enrique Peña Nieto at the private meeting to discussed the arts future in Mexico.

In this way I could see the power in the music to change lives and this is my inspiration every day to continue to study. My dream is to make a large social music program to rescue our children, families, and make a better society for everybody. I love and enjoy social work.

During the last year, I paid my tuition and fees with a full scholarship from the school of music; this thanks to my curriculum and experience to teach kids, however, this scholarship did not include my books, insurance, and another fee for being an international student. Currently, I need to pay my balance of last semester for $3,000.00 before enrolling in my classes for fall 2020, for my immigration status I need to pay before August 7. This balance is derived from my insurance, books, and other extra things.

However for international students the cost of all tuitions and fees is around $22,000.00 per semester. I do not have this money yet to pay my whole semester. Also in Mexico the economy is a very bad derived COVID 19 pandemic, is very difficult get any help in my country.
