To a Nicaraguan family with the biggest hearts

Donation protected
With their big hearts, this family (Grandad, Grandma, Two daughters, Son, Daughter-in-law, and her two beautiful children (Angeli and Heydi)... made the terrifying prospect of living overseas with people I had never met seem like home from home. They would have done it for anyone. Their kindness is plentiful and their ability to give and give again without expectation of return is what drives me even more in my desire to help them.  Nicaragua has an unstable political system and its economy is struggling massively with the added pressures coronavirus brings. It is the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. So, while we often worry about the more abstract and relatively trivial happenings in our lives, these beautiful people are thinking about feeding each other tomorrow and keeping themselves warm in the colder season. These lovely people, who live in the mountains of the north in Madriz in a little village called El Cipian, pray that God will look out for them. Their patience and human resilience is like no other I have witnessed. They are funny, smiley, incredibly attentive and caring, talented, perceptive and tough individuals.  If we are all born equal on this ball of Earth and rock, why are some born into an entirely different World to me? And why are we so lucky to avoid the mental and physical strains they go through... The Grandma, Laura, has diabetes and needs regular check ups and medical attention. The daughter in law, Aura, has a renal infection at present which will progress rapidly and cause serious complications if untreated. Their jobs are gone, and their money for the Doctor's visit is at a minimum. In all my correspondence, they never once asked for my financial help. It is only now that I realise how much this family puts a brave face on the extent of the obstacles they must overcome. While the £50 I sent them was received and they were more thankful than can be imagined for small token gesture for them all, their physical and mental wellbeing remains just as sacred, and the extra monetary donation from you will lessen their load. I know how times are tight right now, but any contribution you can muster would make a sincere difference. The money will be withdrawn by myself and then transferred from my personal Starling bank account to Aura's in Nicaragua (the mother of the two girls) via an official international certified money transfer site 'World Remit'. Thank you so much for reading, and they would give you a humongous smile and a big squeezy hug if they knew you were thinking of them.
