Jeremy's fight against Leukemia

Jeremy is a young vibrant 19 year old whom was starting the next chapter of his young adult life.  On April 27, 2017 Jeremy's plans for the next step in his life changed when he was diagonsed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Jeremy started chemotherapy on April 28, 2017 with the hopes that he would be in remission and in the hospital for only a month. Jeremy's first week in the hospital was rough his oxygen was very low so he had to have it especially to sleep. Jeremy also had pneumonia, and cellulitis. After Jeremy's first round of chemo which is the induction to chemo he had another bone marrow biopsy which was on May 12, 2017. Jeremy and his family received the results on May 16, 2017 that the chemo treatment had killed some of the leukemia but not all of it and that they are going to have to start over again with treatments and Jeremys stay at UAB would start all over so he will be there for another month. Jeremy's next round of chemo started on May 17, 2017 and lasted for 5 days. Jeremy and his family are waiting for another bone marrow biopsy and the results of this one. They have been told by the doctors that Jeremy will need to have a bone marrow transplant, but they have to get him into remission first. At that point Jeremy's younger sister will be tested to see if she is a match. The family is in need of any amount you can give to help with medical expenses. They greatly appreciate all the prayers and support from family, friends and their church family.
