It's Gonna Blow Robotics

It’s Gonna Blow is a 10th grade half-female robotics team in Illinois that competes in the global FIRST robotics competition. In FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), students are given a hands-on opportunity to learn skills that are not typically taught in school, both STEM related, such as coding, engineering, and CAD, and non STEM related, such as accounting, public speaking, collaboration, and project management. While we have been continuously improving and qualified for the state championship last year, we need new parts to be able to take our skills to the next level. As a community team, we have no institutional backing and rely solely on donations for funding. We are looking to raise at least $6,500 for parts and registration that will enable us to continue to compete this season.
