Jones Family House Fire

Donation protected
On March 16th, 2018, I received a phone call that nearly stopped my heart: My parents and nephew had been devastated due to a house fire. They have lost a great deal of all their possessions but have walked away with their lives and spirits intact. We are eternally grateful that they are safe, but sadly we mourn the loss of our beloved family dog, Hubert.

My parents, Mark and Karin Jones, and my nephew, Romeo, now find themselves displaced with their world upside down. We cannot thank our family and friends enough who have helped secure temporary housing in this time of need. We are now asking for your help today to support our loved ones and help them get back on their feet.

For those of you who live locally and are looking to give in another way, we would gratefully utilize your spare time, knowledge of houses for rent, or items that you would care to donate. I have listed below sizes and ages and a little bit of who they are for reference. If you would like to donate items, or otherwise, please contact the email below to see what is available on the list.

If you are reading this on March 18th, don’t forget to wish my amazing mother a happy birthday. We appreciate and thank you for taking the time to look this over and sharing with your family and friends.

Romeo: 3 turning 4 July

He is young but the size of a five or six year old. He loves, and I mean loves, any type of construction toys (especially excavators), helping Papa with shoveling, and being the “little man of the house.” He loves telling jokes, playing his guitar, singing like nobody’s watching and resting while soaking in “Toy Story”. He loves talking with Auntie Cathy on the phone and answering the phone whenever you call. He wears a size 6 shirt size, 6 pants and his shoe size is an 11.

Karin: 55

My mother is a wonderful stained glass creator. She also knits, sews and works with wood in different forms. She has a big heart and is one of the most hard working individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is also so happy to be the caretaker of my sweet nephew as well as graciously caring  for my grandmother across the street for over fifteen years. She wears a size 38B bra, 8 pants, 10 jeans, large shirts and her shoe size is an 8.

Mark: 54

He is by all means a man who loves his cars. He had put together handheld models of antique collectable cars for many years as well as working with vehicles as his profession. He is always helping care for my Grandmother’s home across the street as well as being Mr. Fix-It at home. He is hardworking and always willing to give a helping hand. He wears size 32 waist 30 length pants, Large shirt and his shoe size is a 10.
