Help Michis Family in Puerto Rico

Hi,
As many of you know, Puerto Rico is suffering tremendously the aftermath of hurricane Maria.
A month has passed by and the island is still suffering of heavy rains and floods.
83% of the population still does not have access to electricity or drinking water, and a big part is also going hungry.
The most vulnerable areas are each day more vulnerable not getting basic needs covered, being exposed to dangers caused by nature and the desperation of people in need not to mention no access to medical treatment.
People who live outside the cities formes a big group out of that percentage.
They live to far away and help is not getting trough because of the bad conditions in all forms of communications (telephones and also physical roads and bridges).
And it doesn't look like its going to get better sometime soon.
Puerto Rico has been trough a lot and it has shown us all that the last thing that leaves us is hope.
Right now we need to be that hope, we who can.
We who have ways to communicate and the resources that they need.
There are a lot of ways to help, and there are many noble people out there doing just that by rebuilding and help those in emite need.
But there is still so much to do, that why im now turning to you.
My father is 82 years old and is a farmer and lives in the mountains in a place called Las Marias with my 69 year old mother.
It wasn't after until 2 weeks, when they managed to get to the city that I was able to get a hold and speak to them.
Its continued to be hard to communicate with them but I know that they need my help to be able to keep living in their land in a simple and sustainable way.
What I see as the best option is to bring them an solar kit that will allow them to use their fridge, kitchen, mobile phones and work tools.
That will also help them to help others in the area.
And little by little it will help us as a country to learn how to live in a more sustainable way than we do now.
The price of this kit including shipping is 2377 euros.
If I will be able to get more I could also buy them a bed, shoes, socks and other basic things that they lost in the hurricane.
Every cent is valuable at this time.

Cómo muchos ya saben, Puerto Rico sufre terriblemente con el paso del Huracán María. Ha pasado un mes y las lluvias torrenciales continuan haciendo estragos ,el 83% de la población sigue sin tener acceso a electricidad o a agua potable, la gente más necesitada pasa hambre, y los sectores más vulnerables se encuentran cada vez más vulnerables: sin poder atender sus necesidades básicas, expuestos a todos los peligros causados por el clima y por la desesperación, y sin acceso a atención médica, para no decir nada de todas las demás atenciones.
La gente del campo componen gran parte de este grupo de gente vulnerable. Viven lejos. Las ayudas no pueden llegar a ellos porque todas las vías de comunicación (tanto telefónicas como físicas- puentes, carreteras, etc.) están echas polvo. Y no parece que el problema se vaya a resolver pronto.
Puerto Rico ha pasado por mucho, y nos ha enseñado a todos los que la llevamos dentro, que lo último que se pierde es la esperanza. Lo que pasa es que ahora nos toca ser esa esperanza a nosotros mismos, los que podemos, los que tenemos acceso a la comunicación y a los recursos que ellos necesitan. Hay muchas causas muy nobles: de reconstrucción, de conservación, etc, que están trabajando arduamente para cumplir con esta función, siendo agentes esperanzadores en el momento más oscuro de nuestra historia reciente. Y yo también tengo la mía.
Mi padre tiene 82 años y es agricultor. Vive en una zona rural de Puerto Rico con mi madre de 69 años. Yo tardé dos semanas en poder comunicarme con ellos ya que lograron desplazarce a la zona metropolitana y captar señal y lo único que sé de lo poco que puedo hablar con ellos actualmente, es que tengo que ayudárlos a poder vivir en su tierra de la manera más sencilla y auto-suficiente posible. Por esto, mi propuesta es llevarles un kit solar que pueda por lo menos permitirles utilizar su nevera, su estufa, sus teléfonos móviles, sus herramientas de trabajo. Ellos, a su vez, podrán ayudar a sus vecinos y así, poco a poco, a su comunidad más cercana. Y a lo mejor hasta nos ayuda, poco a poco, como país, a aprender a vivir de una manera más sustentable de la que ahora mismo estamos viviendo
El coste de este kit es de 2377 €.
Si logro conseguir más, les compraré también una cama, zapatos, calcetines, y todas las otras cosas esenciales que perdieron en la tormenta.
Cada poquito ayuda, y esa ayuda vale hoy más que nunca, su valor es inmenso e incalculable.
