Help Lexie to hear again

Donation protected
My best friend’s beautiful 14yr old daughter, Lexie is in need of an upgraded repaired Cochlear implant as soon as possible. She  is without sound and is panicked.

On The night of December 6, 2017, Lexie's cochlear implant (she's had since she was 3 year old), stopped working completely, no reason, just quit.
She has been down to only one of her ears for the past 4 years and relies on this left side to do all the work.

This is devastating for Lexie. Because of the fact that she is very oral and does most of her communication through talking, she can't hear her mothers voice, favorite songs, teachers at school, or friends.  Her love for music is deep within and was one of the main tools to teach her how to learn to speak. Her mother would teach her the sign language to go along with the words to songs. To put it to you in blunt terms, she is shattered and shaken.

Her mother called to pay for a new cochlear implant and the outright payment (it's not covered by insurance) is exceeding the families budget. $15,000 was the beginning of the replacement and setup through otolaryngologists and multiple audiology appointments for her mapping properly.

If you don't know Lexie like I do, heres a little something about what makes her so special and different.  She started a program that gives back to children and adults when she was 8 years old, by donating service dogs all over the world. You can see some of the children she has touched, on her website at www.highfalutinfurrybabies.com and clink on "Lexie's dream"

She not only tirelessly works hard in school getting straight A's in honors, but is one of the first deaf children accepted into the Health academy in Seminole High School.

She played on the Freshman Volleyball team for her school and now Club ball for Power Volleyball in Lake Nona. While balancing her help around the home with her Furry Babies and siblings. She has never been one to ask for help and is the first to make someone smile when they feel down.

Lexie has lost the ability to hear clearly. This beautiful and caring soul needs your help.

Please help me to help Lexie thrive and have the future she dreams about.

This will give her the ability to not only hear again but have the fear rest aside with updated  equipment.
