Titans Rising above Corona

Dear friends and lovers of art and music, dear friends of musicians!**
Since 2014 Titans Rising has put on 10 concerts per year, featuring international specialists of medieval, renaissance and baroque music. Before corona shut down the cultural industry, each concert drew between 200 and 300 listeners. Now we are operating on a fraction of that audience while broadcasting the concerts online via YouTube so that everyone still has the chance to "visit" the concert who wishes to (regardless of being in a risk group), which adds tech costs on top of the usual musicians' fees.
Our first online concert (May 2020):
In short, for the duration of the pandemic, during which social distancing rules apply, the concert series Titans Rising is no longer sustainable without private support. Pausing the series is not an option for us, because our international musicians living in Berlin have already suffered the loss of 80-90% of their concert engagements due to the cancellation of the passion season (March-April) and the impending cancellation of the Christmas season 2020 - so we refuse to cancel our chamber music series and are looking in all directions for various forms of financing.
We ask for your support to help fund our remaining concerts in 2020. Between September and December we will host 17 musicians from around the world in four different programs. Thanks to our very active local donors, we have just managed to reach our first funding goal to bring Ensemble Polyharmonique! Updates to the funding status of the concerts will be posted regularly here and at our website http://titansrising.de
