Tinley's Heart Journey

Hello- I'm Nina (Tinley's mom) we created this page for you to follow Tinley’s heart journey and to help offset gas, food, bills, etc. I will be posting daily updates, pictures, and prayer requests. Please pray for Tinley, please add her to your prayer chains and church prayer list.

Our BIG prayer:

We are praying for no additional cardiac events. We pray that God keeps Tinley’s heart strong, functional, and healthy. May it be all that she needs.

Father, please give her your heart and lungs. Please come alongside her for the days and time to come. We ask this in Jesus’ name, amen.

RECAP: Monday, March 11th at 8:30 am it was drop off time at Jeffers Elementary, Tinley walked into the building and collapsed (went into vfib cardiac arrest). There were many elementary staff and parents with medical backgrounds (PA & first responder) who were present and able to leap into action immediately.

Tinley was revived within 1 minute with an AED.

As much as my heart hurts for what’s to come. I’m so thankful for the people who were there Monday. They are a part of her heart story and they (with God’s divine intervention) saved Tinley’s life.

This was all very unexpected; Tinley is eight now and the last time she experienced a cardiac event she was 13 months.
