Tinky’s Surgery & Recovery Costs

Hey friends and family, Tinky needs your help!
On Sunday, February 21st, 2021, Tinky needed urgent medical assistance at the PetVet Animal Hospital in Honolulu, HI.
Her condition was known as Pyometra—an infection in the uterus. Pyometra is most common in older dogs and is caused by thick, cystic lining that secretes bacterial fluids. Since it was a serious and life-threatening condition, Tinky had to undergo emergency surgery to remove her ovaries and uterus. She is currently back at home for recovery.
She also has a second condition of an enlarged mass growing on the back of her left leg. It is a mass of fat and tissue, and thankfully, recent ultrasounds have concluded it as non-cancerous. In the upcoming months, we would like Tinky to have this mass surgically removed to prevent any future complications.
Tinky has been in our family for more than 13 years and is the strongest chihuahua/terrier we know. Any donation—big or small—will greatly help our ohana afford all surgical and recovery costs. Much mahalo in advance!
