TINDOG DALUPAON: A Donation Drive

Greetings of hope!
Last November 1,2020, the Bicol Province in the Philippines was devastated by the Super Typhoon Rolly and Typhoon Ulysses.Dalupaon, a small coastal barangay located in Pasacao,Camarines Sur in the Philippines were one of the communities that being damaged and impacted by the Super Typhoon Rolly.As a typhoon roared in the said community many houses are totally washed up by the storm surges and strong wind since houses are built near in the seashore.The atfermath of the Super typhoon was very heart breaking, Aside from houses,their sources of income were loss as well,resulting to hunger and great poverty in the said community.Adding this disaster to the ongoing pandemic means the Bicol Region particularly the Dalupaon Community is experiencing one of the most perilous situation today. This is a heart-wrenching experience for us since some of us have incurred damages that not even money will suffice.
In response to this, I initiated this donation drive entitled TINDOG DALUPAON. “Tindog” is a Bicolano term which means ‘to stand’.In times of great catastrophe, Filipinos are known for its resiliency but our resiliency will not be enough for us to recover from the problems brought by the Super Typhoon,WE NEED YOUR HELP.We need your helping hand so that we will stand again and rise again.
With this,I am Luis D. Magdamit Jr.,20 year old Youth Advocate for the Philippines,student Journalist,Red Cross Youth Volunteer and a resident of the said community asking for the support of the people and encouraging everyone who have the capability to help from all over the world by sharing any amount of monetary donations or a huge amount will be a great help for the people of my humble community.In this time of great disasters,it is in compassion that we rely on each other. Let your help be the hope of those people who were affected.
Monetary Donations will be used to purchase products and goods needed by the victims of the said Typhoons.Rest assured that all your donations will be given to our beneficiary. We will update you on the progress of the donation drive.
