Tina Meekins

Hello everyone. As you may know we lost our beautiful Mommom yesterday November 7 at 4:16am and we miss her beyond words. She was admitted to the Chesapeake Regional Hospital for a simple Gallbladder procedure which led to pneumonia and further caused her lungs to collapse. Sadly, her body was too weak to fight off the illness. We ask you to keep our family in your prayers as we navigate through this tough time. Everyone who knew Mommom knows how much she loved her family and all of her grandchildren. She was a kind, caring, humble, loving family member(Mother,Daughter,Sister,Aunt,Niece,Grandmother, Cousin), a friend to many, a provider for those in need, and an amazing human being all around. Although the Lord called her home earlier than we can understand, she was able to touch so many lives. Her love will live on in our hearts and through the people who loved her dearly. On behalf of the Meekins family, a go-fund-me has been set up to cover the costs of her funeral expenses and hospital bills. We are still figuring out the service details and will post an update when we have more information. Please consider donating if you can, as any amount will truly help.
