Timothy, an otherwise healthy 19 year old Parkland teenager, was recently diagnosed with an extremely rare and large Brain Tumor, a Central Nuerocytoma (CNC). If not treated immediately, it will be life threatening. The Tumor is 5 cm in diameter and located in the center of his Brain, making Surgery extremely difficult with innumerable risks.
Just before the Holiday's, we started to notice some dramatic changes with Timothy's eyesight and balance. He was also suffering from major headaches. On Sunday, January 28th, we took him to West Boca's ER and he was diagnosed with a large mass on the Brain. He was immediately moved to Delray Medical Center, where he had a Biopsy done, as well as a procedure to remove the buildup of fluid surrounding the Tumor.  
Timothy remained in ICU for over a week, and in the hospital for a future 3 weeks.
On Friday, March 2nd, Tim will be having Surgery, a Craniotomy that will take between 4 and 6 hours.
If all goes perfectly, Timothy will face another lengthy stay in the hospital and a 6 month recovery period. He will also need extensive Physical Therapy. The Funds will be used to help with the Medical Expenses associated with the Surgery and his recovery. We appreciate any size donation. Thank you for your consideration.
