Timothy Clemons funeral services-Keppra Awareness

Donation protected
Earlier this week, our father Timothy Clemons tragically took his own life. Timothy was a beacon of joy, always spreading laughter, making jokes, and overflowing with love. However, after being prescribed Levetiracetam also known as Keppra, an anti-seizure medication, we witnessed a significant change in his personality. Keppra is associated with mental depression, altered reality, aggression, irritability, personality changes, delusions, paranoia, and combativeness, among other side effects. For individuals dealing with anxiety, Keppra can exacerbate their condition. Despite the hospital's awareness of our father's anxiety, they still administered this medication.

In Texas, cases of suicide are not legally pursued, making it difficult to hold hospitals and doctors accountable. It is our belief that if our father had not been prescribed Keppra, he would still be alive today. We placed our trust in the hospital, only to be let down.

While legislative changes may be slow to occur, we aim to raise awareness about the dangers of Keppra and advocate for alternative anti-seizure medications. We are seeking financial assistance to provide our father with a dignified funeral. Any donations or support would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.
