If you had the pleasure of meeting Timothy J. Grace, AKA Hunter, AKA "Sarge" to all his friends at the Fire Department, if for even for just a moment ...im sure you'd agree that he had an impact on you and your heart... almost like a breath of fresh air... his heart and his smile were as big as the day is long.. his character and his sense of humor, his friendship and his loyalty, his compassion and his love, all of these qualities and many more made Hunter the man we adored ... along side family, his unselfish attitude and commitment to the welfare of others by way of the local fire department were his absolute passion... this man is a man that will be greatly missed but never forgotten... with his passing comes many tears and plenty of heartache to those of us who knew and loved him.Tragically and completely without warning this gentle soul was diagnosed with an extremely rare and fatal cancer. September 10,2017, within a few short weeks of diagnoses, our Hunter, lost his life to this fatal disease. Needless to say the entire family and friends are in a state of shock. We were unprepared emotionally as well as financially. We are reaching out to those who knew him and those that understand the unexpected heartbreak of losing a loved one. We are asking you to financially assist us as a family with the expense of the funeral preparations and the laying to rest of our beloved and forever cherished brother. Life and now death has turned our world upside down and need help with continuing his legacy of love to his remaining family.
No one likes or wants to ask for money but this is truly a financial burden that has caught us all unprepared. We appreciate a donation of any amount and wish in advance to thank you from our hearts for your kindness and generosity.
Please remember our beautiful kind sweet Hunter. God truly blessed us with his presence in our lives. He will never be forgotten.

My cousin Timothy (AKA Hunter) (AKA Sergeant Hunter) (AKA Serg, to the firemen) loved everything that had to do with police and firemen. He was one of God's special people who's mind never really made its way past childhood. So even though he grew into a middle aged man, his mind and heart stayed like that of a child. He spent a good portion of his time watching TV shows about police and firemen. He spent the rest of his time chasing fire trucks around his city (San Bernardino). He eventually made friends with some of the local firemen and even got to hang around the station and get to know some of their equipment. He was recently diagnosed with cancer and it took him down fast. Unfortunately he succumbed to it this morning. He passed away in his own bed at my mom's house (my mom has been taking care of him and brother, who is also mentally disabled, for the past fifteen years since their mother passed away). I'm very thankful that his friends from the San Bernardino County Fire Department, who he loved dearly, were there with him even after he wasn't able to go see them at their station. They visited him in his last days in his home and that made him very happy. I'm sure they will miss him and his silliness, I know I will. I know he loved me and thought I was so cool because of my job. I wish I would have spent more time with him.
er be forgotten.
