Timmins Minor Hockey Association Family Fund

Every year the Timmins Minor Hockey Association is presented with a situation where due to unforeseen circumstances a family or two are not in a position to meet the financial registration requirements to participate in that particular hockey season.
This season is no different, as we have a family in a situation where they are in need of some financial help to keep their son playing hockey.
These families are in situations where unforeseen circumstances have put them in a position where they are either too late or do not qualify to make an attempt at programs such as Sports for Kids / KidSport or Canadian Tire JumpStart.
We wish to raise enough funds to cover two registrations of $325 each. One to cover the registration for this particular family and one to be left in a "TMHA Family Fund" ready for the next situation that arises.
The TMHA works diligently to meet their financial goals yearly. We are looking for your help to assist us with this campaign and initiative.
Our campaign goal equals approximately $2.33 per TMHA registrant for this season.
We challenge each TMHA player family to donate $5 towards this campaign so that the "TMHA Family Fund" can be established and so that every player is given an equal opportunity to play our great game even in times of unexpected financial hardships.
Thank you in advance for your donation towards helping this player for this season and for the future hockey players that will benefit from your generosity.
100% of your donation will go towards the registration costs for TMHA players experiencing temporary financial difficulties.
