Tim Gray Love Train Fundraiser

"Get On Board The Love Train", a benefit for local musician and artist, Tim Gray.
On Friday May 3, 2019, at 7:30 p.m., local musicians, artists, and friends will come together at the Arcata Playhouse in a benefit for Tim Gray. Tim is know throughout our community as a songwriter, drummer, recording engineer, soul singer, and sound designer. He was musical director a Dell’Arte for the past twenty years. He was a member of numerous locally loved bands including Lance Romance, The Bayou Swamis, Barking Dogma, and the Joyce Hough Band. He has engineered the sound recordings of many local musicians including all the performers scheduled for the benefit. He has been a mentor and inspiration to many local musicians.
A couple of years ago Tim was diagnosed with a rare degenerative brain disorder (Corticobasal Degeneration) for which there is no cure. His resulting symptoms have restricted his ability to pursue his tremendous talents as a musician and sound engineer/designer. He has given much to our community and now we want to give some back.
In partnership with the benefit we are starting a gofundme campaign for Tim. Funds raised will help him pay the rent, buy groceries and pay for other living expenses and safety upgrades to his home.
