On 20th October a group of 50 plus individual, of all ages who have been directly or in directly affected by metal health in some way will be walking from Wales to England .
The challenge is to complete it within 24 hours, setting off from Rhyl to walk the 60 miles home to Manchester.
There is no doubt this is a personal challenge but the scary fact is suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. With 84 men taking their lives each week, the men of Manchester must take a stand, we must support and the time is now!
Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) work to prevent male suicide by providing services for men who are down or in crisis, and by campaigning for culture change so men feel able to seek help.
We have set ourselves a bold challenge to raise a donation of £50,000.0, a donation of £7.00 can pay for one call which can save a life. A donation of £160.00 can fund a phone line for an evening. Every penny counts, so please give what you can!
