Support Tim as he battles lymphoma

Greetings friends and family who love Tim,
Many of you are aware that Timothy was diagnosed with lymphoma last winter. It’s a complex disease and, over the past year, Tim has undergone extensive testing, treatment, and surgeries as specialists try to understand his condition and initiate the best medical approach. After a rigorous chemo regimen his doctors informed him that his pathology had changed to a more aggressive cancer. This requires a change of course that includes more aggressive treatment that will not allow him to sustain a busy teaching schedule at Salem State University, North Shore Community College and Wentworth Institute.
His medical treatment in Boston is top-notch, but care coordination and teaching at three schools has proved nearly impossible. Timothy and those who love him are grateful for all the things he does have: oncologists who are attentive and committed to his recovery, his personal nurse advocate, Deb Woodbury, who attends all critical consultations, his own acerbic wit and optimistic attitude, and a vast array of friends and family who have been with him through the more challenging of these times, making him dinner, walking his dog Copper, and hanging out close by while he is sick.
Unfortunately, his treatment is going to be rougher this time around, and those close to him have been urging him to put himself first, accept help, and stop working so hard (or stop working completely) and concentrate on beating this thing and healing his body. He has, after much persuasion, begrudgingly agreed. We all know this is hard for Tim, but it is also critical for his recovery. In light of this, his friends are asking you to donate whatever you can so he can do just this. The money will be used to make up for his loss of work, to help cover expenses, take care of mounting medical bills, and pay for his numerous medication costs.
We all have seen and experienced Tim’s generous heart, and he is always first to help when someone else is in need. Thank you for giving it back to him.
