Tim is turning 50!!!

Timbo is turning 50 at the end August!!

I'll be honest ... I have no idea as yet how he'll be celebrating this milestone, but I do know that he's been wasting many hours staring lustfully at Fender amps online.

You know he loves his music, but he doesn't have an amp at the moment. I thought it would be great idea to get friends and family to band together and get him one for his 50th birthday!

So the plan is this - if any of you that would like to put in for his gift, just  "donate" to this GoFundMe page. Whatever total we get, I'll chuck in the rest and get him his dream amp (at the moment that's the Fender 57 Bandmaster but we'll see how we go ...). Any amount is completely acceptable – it's more about small amounts adding up to something he'll love and treasure for years to come.

Those who donate, I'd ask that you to write a birthday message in your own writing, take a pic on your phone and send it to me. Best to email it so Mr Nosy doesn't see it :-)

I'll then put all those wishes together into something he can keep.

I hope you think this is a good idea. I have no idea what to get him otherwise ... :-)

Also, I want to acknowledge that GoFundMe has some very worthy causes - sick children needing treatment, for example. It's a bit tough to scroll past them and donate for an amp. I wont judge you if your precious dollars end up going elsewhere!!
