Tiffany's Journey
Donation protected
On Wednesday, January 10th, Tiffany gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. 7 days later, she was admitted to the Owensboro hospital, then air lifted to University of Louisville hospital with necrotizing fasciitis. She is in the ICU surrounded by family, friends, and spectacular doctors and nurses enduring 6 surgeries in 6 days as the surgeons treat this aggressive disease. She is growing stronger everyday and her body is fighting to come out of septic shock and to breathe without a breathing tube so that she can continue to be a strong wife and mother.
The doctors estimate that her stay in U of L Hospital will be at least several months long as her body heals. In the short term, they are incurring initial treatment fees, cost for meals, and hotel costs in the coming weeks. They are taking this day by day. As they have a more exact timeline of recovery time away from Owensboro and additional cost not covered by insurance, they will update the amount of needed funds.
More than donations, Tiffany and her family need prayers. The first 6 days of this journey have been a huge testament of how faithful God is in answering everyone's prayers. Her health would not have made as much progress without the love, support, and prayers from those who know Tiffany and those who do not.
