Tiffany's Fight Against Glioblastoma

Tiffany is a vibrant and beautiful 37 year old mother who was recently diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma tumour.  Glioblastoma is an incurable, aggressive, cancerous tumour.  Tiffany is to begin chemotherapy and radiation within the next two weeks to allow her time to go home and spend time with her son and family. Doctors have given Tiffany 6-12 months.  I have begun researching alternative therapies extensively. Upon researching, we have learned about a recently trialed therapy called Viral Gene Therapy. This therapy injects herpes simplex virus into the brain, which causes the body's immune system to attack any foreign matter, including the deep finger-like projections that the cells from glioblastoma have that embed in healthy brain tissue. Clinical trials have shown success in this treatment and we are searching extensively for options to get Tiffany the chance to fight this diagnosis.  Unfortunately, it is a race against time due to the rapid and aggressive nature of this type of brain cancer.  As we begin our search to find cancer centres that are using this therapy (or another therapy which me may have not yet found, as we are continuing to research), we are working to find ways to relieve the financial burden that this will have on her, her son, and her family. We are hoping our community can come together to help give this beautiful, loving woman a chance to fight. ❤️
