Hello Everyone! My name is Tiffanie Dwyer.
Some family members already know what is going on. I have been experiencing seizures since July of 2015. Since I was uninsured, many doctors and hospitals told me I was having panic attacks since the seizures were non-typical. (Mine were caused from Mis-balance or falling, rather then TV, Lights, etc) After getting insurance and being able to afford seeing a neurologist, I did an EEG & MRI to cover all my bases. On March 7th, I was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor that is inside the left side of my brain. (Digging...) Roughly, a little larger then the diameter of a quarter. My surgeons are extremely confident that the tumor can be removed without any major side affects, since amazingly, I have maintained normal brain function for 7 months! My Brain Works!! Once it is removed, they will find out exactly what type it is, how long it has been there, & if it is cancerous. (Let’s hope not) My Family, Friends, and Co-workers are being very supportive in all this. However, I will not receive any pay while I am in recovery. (6 Weeks) I do not want to put anyone in any financial burden of any kind. I would just ask that if you can give something to help cover my bills for the time that I will be in recovery, that would be a huge help to me & a big stress point off my shoulders while i am stove up... After 6 weeks, I should be able to return to work on a part-time basis to get my strength back up and eventually full-time! If you can’t help, that is okay! Just keep your thoughts and prayers with my family, this has made them VERY stressed. Where as, I’m just going with the flow and not worrying about something that I have no control over! As my brother calls it...A Vulcan-Complex. Any type of support is welcome! The surgery will not happen for another two weeks. I will update my Facebook to let everyone know when D-Day is.
