Tic Tacs emergency surgery

Tic tac went to the emergency vets last night after he’d been acting very sick at home. He immediately got fluids because he was so dehydrated from what was going on and his body temperature was 6 degrees below normal. After tests, xrays and bloodwork we found out he has a blockage in his intestines. We decided to admit him to the hospital overnight to see if the blockage would move its way out by itself. Unfortunately, it hasn’t moved. This morning we were faced with the question, do you want to put him down or do you want to perform surgery? This question weigh heavily on us as we’re about to start building our new home and really don’t have an extra 4-5 thousand dollars just laying around. We ultimately decided to go ahead and remove the blockage surgically. We know that times are SO tough right now and that most people can’t afford to help. If you have anything to spare we would be beyond grateful to you. Kashden, Eamon and I just want our cat back home with us where he belongs ❤️
