Tibetan Basketball Development & Empowerment

Basketball is already changing lives for the remote nomads on the Tibetan Plateau, and it has the potential to empower even more Tibetans, at a deeper level, across the region.
These funds will be used entirely for grassroots, local basketball development in 2020, funding training camps for men's, women's, youth, and wheelchair programs. The funds will cover transportation, housing, meals, and equipment for volunteer professional coaches and Tibetan players.
The program is based in Ritoma Village in the Amdo region of the Tibetan Plateau, located at 10,500 feet in altitude and home to the social enterprise Norlha (www.norlha.com).
