Volunteering in Peru

My name is Tiana Pluck and I'm 20 years old. I've made this GoFundMe page in hopes of raising money so that I can attend my church's mission trip to Peru this June. Our church will travel to Lima, Peru to work in an orphanage. Whilst there, we will be distributing wheelchairs and helping with construction projects in partnership with our sister church, Camino de Vida.
Being a college student, TRUST ME, I know how hard it is to come across money. Asking you all to donate the money that you've worked so hard to earn isn't something that I went into lightly. When this trip was first proposed, I immediately dismissed it, knowing that I did not have the money that would be required to fund it. With this state of mind, I let the deadline pass and accepted that I would not be able to serve the Lord (in this way) over the summer. However, when I went to church a week afterwards, Pastor announced they would be extending the deadline. With this, I felt I was being given a second opportunity to apply.
I truly feel that God has been nudging me to do more in this world -- to help people of all walks of life. I do my best to serve the community that I dwell in, but now I'm asking you all to aid me in venturing off to serve those that are living in a less-fortunate Peruvian community worlds away. My posted goal on this page is $2000, however please know that if I am not able to raise the entire amount needed to allow me to personally attend the trip, I pledge to donate the money that I do raise to the Peruvian orphanage (...so, regardless, please have peace knowing that your donations will be funding a good cause).
