Support Arab Bedouin women photographers from Umm al-Ḥīrān present their story in New York

Arab Bedouin people in the Negev/Naqab desert, despite being Israeli citizens, are under daily risk of their homes being demolished, and are constantly denied of water, electricity, and other basic services.
Four courageous Arab Bedouin women documented their lives as the State forces them and their families to say goodbye to everything they call home. Now their photographs will travel all the way to New York to share a message of humanity and resilience.
Please support the women of Umm al-Ḥīrān as they share their photographic documentation of the State’s assault on the 500 Arab Bedouin residents in the unrecognized village. Their unprecedented photographic testimony will be exhibited in a featured exhibition entitled: "Forced from Home" at the Photoville Festival in New York this September 12-22, which expects to receive more than 92,000 visitors.
Why? As we witness violence and displacement of indigenous populations and first nations all around the world, women are taking unimaginable risks to step up and face private and state institutions to stop state projects that will effectively destroy their communities.
The story of the indigenous Arab Bedouin people in the Negev/Naqab is presented through the unmediated eyes of women, who document their daily lives in Umm al-Ḥīrān. The State will demolish the village for the purpose of establishing a Jewish-only town on its rubble. Your donation will be a much-needed symbolic and material demonstration of support for the civil struggle and resistance of Arab Bedouin women, whose photographs express their strength and resilience against various forms of oppression. Through their photography, the women tell a personal and communal story of the indigenous Arab Bedouin people that make the Negev/Naqab region their home.

تحت تهديد دائم بالهدم وبدون توصيل للمياه والكهرباء، قامت أربع نساء بدويات شجاعات بتوثيق حياتهن في وقت تضطرهن الدولة وعوائلهن-مواطنو دولة اسرائيل- للتخلي عن كل ما يمت للبيت بصلة. ةالآن هن يقمن بالمستحيل- تصويرهن سيعرض في نيويورك، لتمرير رسالة حازمة ضد النهب والسلب .ودعماً لحقوق الإنسان ولتبيان قوة الجمهور
ساعدوا المصورات من أم الحيران على عرض اللحظات الأخيرة لِـ- 500 من البدو العرب الذين يعيشون في القرية غير المعترف بها حيث عاشوا لأكثر من ستة قرون. تم اختيار نتاج تصويرهن الفني الاستثنائي ليتم عرضه في مهرجان فوتوڤيل في نيويورك في سبتمبر القادم، حيث من المتوقع أن يصله أكثر من 92000 زائر!
لماذا هذا الأمر مهم؟ تأخذ النساء من السكان الأصليين في جميع أنحاء العالم على عاتقهن خطورات كبيرة لمواجهة الوكالات الخاصة والحكومية من أجل وقف المشاريع الضخمة التي ستدمر مجتمعاتهن. أم الحيران هي واحدة من 35 قرية بدوية عربية ترفض إسرائيل الاعتراف بها. يقطن هذه القرى أكثر من 90،000 نسمة - رجالاً ونساءً وأطفالاً -وجميعهم مواطنون إسرائيليون تنتهك حقوقهم وتُرفض مطالباتهم بالأرض دوماً.نحتاج مساعدتكم لعرض صورهن في نيويورك! ساعدونا على توصيل صوتهن!

נשות אֻםּ אַל-חִירָאן מצלמות למען זכויות אדם - עזרו להן להציג את התמונות שלהן בתערוכה בניו יורק
תחת איום בלתי פוסק של הריסות, ללא מים, חשמל או שירותים בסיסיים אחרים, ארבע נשים ערביות בדואיות אמיצות להפליא תיעדו את חייהן בכפר בתקופה בה המדינה דוחקת בהן ובבני משפחותיהן, אזרחי מדינת ישראל, להיפרד מכל מה שהן מכנות בית. ועכשיו הן עושות את הלא ייאמן - הצילומים שלהן יוצגו בניו יורק, כדי להעביר מסר נחרץ נגד נישול ובעד זכויות אדם וכוחה של קהילה.
עזרו לצלמות מאֻםּ אַל-חִירָאן להציג את הרגעים האחרונים של 500 ערבים-בדואים, תושבי הכפר הלא מוכר בו הם חיו למעלה משישה עשורים. יצירות האומנות יוצאות הדופן שלהן נבחרו להציג בפסטיבל פוטוויל בניו יורק בספטמבר הקרוב, אליו צפויים להגיע יותר מ92,000 מבקרים!
למה זה חשוב? בעודן חוות אלימות ועקירה, נשים ילידיות מכל העולם לוקחות על עצמן סיכונים יוצאי דופן על מנת להתייצב אל מול גופים פרטיים וממשלתיים במטרה לעצור פרויקטי ענק אשר יהרסו את הקהילות שלהן. אֻםּ אַל-חִירָאן הינו אחד מתוך 35 כפרים ערבים-בדואים שישראל מסרבת להכיר בהם. הכפרים הללו הם ביתם של למעלה מ-90,000 איש, אישה וטף - כולם אזרחים ישראלים, שזכויותיהם ותביעותיהם לקרקע מופרות ונדחות שוב ושוב.
