Throat Cancer with Laryngectomy in Need
Donation protected
This is my brother, Chris. He's only 49years and is going through some very trying times. My brother didn't realize how sick he's been until he was rushed to the hospital last week and placed on a traech. He is such a kind and gentle soul and has always put helping others above himself, even to the detriment of his own health. He's a plumber by trade, a Christian, a father, and the best brother I could've asked for. He has always been there for me even if it meant dropping everything in his own life to come to my rescue. The great medical team at Baylor St Luke's in Houston tells us that he has a large cancerous mass on his vocal cords. He has been unable to speak since the traech and will now loose his voice forever. I will always remember the last time I heard his voice. Now, he will have a new voice, a new reality, a new way of living life. I know his kindness will still be heard and felt by those around him.
Due to COVID restrictions, no visitors are allowed to see my brother, not even his wife. My heart saddens to know he is going through all of this without family there beside him.
His wife must additionally continue to work to pay the bills, and has recently had her vehicle stop running. To make things doubly hard, my brother's work van has also stopped working. They are in desperate need right now y'all. Im trying to help where I can, but we still need to raise another $1,800 to purchase a used car so my brother can get to doc appointments, his wife can get to work, they can get groceries and basics.
Please donate if you can. If you have any information on nonprofits for cancer, laryngectomy patients, please share
