Help Tom Run Antarctic Marathon 2020
Donation protected
At 26, I set myself the challenge of running a marathon on 7 continents to raise money for 7 charities.
After completing two marathons it became clear that asking the same people for money each time was not a sustainable source of funds for charity. I knew that I would need to wait for the final marathon of the challenge, in which only 50 runners a year compete.
I have self-funded my travel costs and entry fees to date, which has seen me now run six marathons on six continents. Unfortunately this has depleted any savings I had and I am not able to pay the high entry fee for the Antarctic Ice Marathon to complete the challenge. This is currently around £14,445.
I am hoping that friends, family, sponsors and followers will give me the helping hand I need to pay this entry fee and then some! All funds that surpass the race entry costs will be donated to charity.
Many thanks,
Tom
