A pollinator & food garden art exhibition site, currently in natural succession (plant growth), located in the Little Axe Community of eastern Norman, OK (near Lake Thunderbird), which remains the present-day territory of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma and the ancestral lands of the Kiowa, Kickapoo, Osage, Wichita, and Quapaw people.
 
"This is Place" is dedicated to promoting Oklahoman artists and poets, community, culture and awareness to regional ecosystems.
 
"This is Place" is a 2021 to 2022 grant-funded project and aspires to bring various opportunities to Oklahoma artists and poets and community events and workshops that bring cultural and environmental knowledge to residents and visitors to the Little Axe Community. If you enjoyed This is Place on-site exhibit, zine, garden, and events, please consider donating for future, 2023 and on, funding to artists and poets, zine printing, on-site art printing, and gardening necessities.
