This is How Girls Die

We are looking to raise the funds necessary to put on our original production of THIS IS HOW GIRLS DIE. Inspired by the Grimm fairytale, Snow White and Rose Red, we are looking to give a modern twist to antiquated fairytale morals. There are many perils facing girls in today's society, and we aim to tackle them in a whimsical and accessible way using physical vocabulary, bold colors, music, and bear costumes. We are a group of local feminist theatre makers who want to give a voice to womyn to define their own gender, sexuality, and identity. Our production is a devised physical dark comedy that examines hard issues in a fascinating and colorful world of "visual candy." 

We need funds to:

-Pay our artists and technicians
-Purchase set and props materials
-Purchase costumes
-Pay for rehearsal space 
-Market to increase our audience base
