Peggy is in the fight of her life and she needs your support!
Peggy was recently diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive type of breast cancer. The official diagnosis is Stage IV Inflammatory Breast Cancer with metastasis in her lymph nodes, lung and pelvic bone.
Staying Strong
Peggy worked with her doctors at Mayo Clinic to develop an aggressive plan of action. She started chemotherapy right away and will undergo as many as 24 treatments over the course of 6-8 months. Then, she’ll tackle surgery and radiation. Peggy has a long road ahead, but she is a willful woman with a heart of gold. She has many loving friends and family members to support her in her fight.
A Supportive Community
Peggy is blessed with excellent caregivers and a supportive community. Members of her local community have recently come together to plan a fundraiser to help reduce the financial burden associated with her life-saving medical treatment. The grass-roots event will feature a silent auction, live auction and bake sale. Food and drinks will also be sold.
