Think Like a Girl DI Trip to Global

Hello Everyone. This is "Think Like A Girl" Destination Imagination team from The Cotuit Center for the Arts and Barnstable High School.
WE DON'T WANT A HAND OUT! We are trying to raise money for our trip to Globals. We would LOVE IT if you want to simply donate to this Gofundme page, but know that we are willing to work for it! We can do odd jobs, raking, cleaning, washing windows, shoveling.... babysitting, WIT (within reason.) Have you an odd job that you have no time or inclination to tackle. Let us know! Message us via our facebook page (www.facebook.com/Thinklikeagirl7) or email us using the contact button below, and we will negotiate terms!!!
Over the past month, we have been very busy traveling around Massachusetts to our Regional and State competitions for "DI". DI is a non-profit, volunteer-led, cause-driven organization. Their purpose is to inspire and equip students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders. Annually, they offer seven new standards-based Challenges in STEM, Improv, Visual Arts, Service Learning, and Early Learning. Since October 2014, our team has gotten together to work on the service project. We had a movie night where the proceeds benefitted the Cape Cod Challenger Club. We created a presentation with a live skit explaining our work. The skit was based on the movie we showed for our fund raiser, Inside Out. We presented to a panel of judges in March at our Regional competition in Yarmouth MA. After we won that competition, we advanced on to the State competition in Worcester, MA. At States, our team was jumping with joy when the announcer called us up for 1st place. Now we hope to be off to Knoxville, TN for global finals. This experience is something every person on a team wants to be a part of. The reason we are on this site, is because in order for us to go, we are hoping to raise $10,000. I’m sure your mind just said, "Holy Moly!" but there are lots of things to take into consideration. We need to pay for are airplane tickets, accommodations (we will stay on the University of Tennessee Knoxville campus). If we raise more than our goal, then we are going to donate the rest of our money to the Cape Cod Challenger Club and the Cotuit Center for the Arts, because and CCftA sponsored us initially.
