Think Pink-Support the Garners

Donation protected

As many may know, Megan was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. As the Garner family means so much to so many people we wanted to create a way for those near and far to show our support to this incredible family.

Megan has surgery scheduled October 12 and following that her chemo treatments will begin. As you can imagine medical expenses will be significant.

Let's stand with our friends and help Megan "fight like a girl!"

Below are some thoughts from friends highlighting just a few ways the Garners are irreplaceable in our lives...

"The Garner family has meant so much to our entire family.  Our faith in God has strengthened through their leadership and example." - Mandy C.

"Coming to G3 and getting to know Megan and Ron has been such a gift to me and to my family. They have welcomed our family into their church family and displayed God's grace like we've never seen before. They are real, down to earth, and warm people. Our lives are better for knowing and serving others alongside them." - Allison B.

"We met the Garners shortly after joining Mount Tabor UMC 15 years ago when Ron became the Associate Pastor. Having children that were close in age and sharing many of the same interests, we quickly became friends. It has been such a blessing to share our life journey with them all these years - they have been an integral part of our spiritual growth, and we love them like family. Megan and Ron are two of the most loving, caring, supportive people we know, who truly have hearts like Jesus." - Greg and Ginger O.

"It's hard to put into words what Megan and Ron Garner mean to us. I'm not sure where we would be in our walk of faith without them. The love, support, and understanding that they have continued to show everyone they know does not have boundaries." - Ronnie and Melanie R.

"Megan has such a sweet spirit and has sacrificed much as a pastor's wife to see G3 'get off the ground' over the past 7-8 years. She deserves all of the love, support, and encouragement we can give her during this difficult time." - Stephanie H.

"Ron and Megan have been a part of my life now for about four years. They are two of the most selfless people that I know, never hesitating to give of themselves for someone in need." - Caleb T.

"Upon moving to North Carolina and knowing almost no-one, Megan and Ron opened their house, their lives, and their hearts to give me a home away from home. I am forever grateful for who they are. Let's help her win this fight!" -Rebekah T.
