Recently our family was blind sided when our father, Don Thimble was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. AML is a Cancer that attacks the blood cells and progresses rapidly.
Don is currently receiving treatment in Boston. He is not eligible for a bone marrow transplant or an aggressive chemo therapy. Once he returns home to Block Island he will have to receive treatment five times a month.
Any donation to help with Don's medical and travel expenses are greatly appreciated. Any donation that is not used will be donated to The Mary D Fund on Block Island. If you can not donate, PLEASE keep Don in your prayers.
