They lost everything in a fire on 10-23-2020

On the night of 10/23/2020 my sister’s life was changed yet again. The home she had just recently moved into with her 3 sons, started on fire. It appears a faulty installation of a kitchen vent is to blame. Something that the previous tenants had done. What could have been lost, and not replaced, was thankfully spared. The family is all physically fine, though they are shaken at what could have been. The home has been pretty much destroyed. Holes in the roof, the attic flooded, the kitchen with massive fire and water damage. What little she and her boys had, destroyed.
Nicole has not had it easy. She has worked hard and struggled through the toughest of times. Through all the hardships and loss, she has remained steady for her children, and a source of love for those who know her best. Nicole, gives. She gives to anyone in need. She has so little, but she still gives. You need money, she gives what she can. You need food, she gives what she can. You need a warm place to sleep, she gives what she can. She does it without complaining. Through all the adversity she has been through in her life she continues to move forward. Nicole is never one to want people to feel sorry for her. She hates that this has happened, but as her family, we know that now is the time to ask for help.
She does not deserve to be homeless. Her children do not deserve to be homeless. They need a roof over their heads and a safe place to sleep. We ask for anything you can give. Big or small, every single penny is important and appreciated. If you cannot give, please share. No matter what you do, we ask all who read this to say a prayer for my sister and her children today. That they may find comfort and peace in this difficult time.
