Help Save The Wonder Inn

Good Morning Friends!

We write asking for your support.

Firstly - this is who we are:

We operate as a Community Interest Company (CIC) in the heart of Manchester City Centre. 

Essentially we are a creative wellness centre that has hosted hundreds of beautiful & unique events and with an amazing team of volunteers behind us we pour our profits back into the project and community. 

Our program is created to offer our space and time to everyone - we embrace creativity!  We have accomplished in our mission to generate vibrancy and dynamism within our city and community.

For all tickets sold to our events, we plant a tree - we keep the planets environment safely in the centre of our choices.  We operate a visionary business focussing on environmental  sustainability. 

Our cafe is organic and vegetarian and we have created our venue out of up cycled and recycled objects and fixtures.

We actively support local artists and musicians as well as hosting International award winning artist such as Kendrick Lamar.

We also recently hosted an event for 90 International Environmental Delegates - they could have chosen any venue in the city, like previously but they chose The Wonder Inn. Instead of champagne on arrival we served raw organic juice and a 3 course meal made from waste food supported by The Real Junk Food Project.

So, this is what we do & we would love to continue. 

And now, why we need your help: 

Just last week, we were served notice to pay a non negotiable insurance fee and sadly we have just 10 days in which to raise the funds.

We initially planned to launch a Kickstarter and Just Giving Page however both of these options can only be completed in 30 days - and we don't have that much time :(

So we plea and ask for your support to help us save this extraordinary program. 

In return for donations - we would like to hold a huge Wonder Inn Ball to say a gigantic thank you, regardless of the outcome. 

We will endeavour to do everything we can to raise these funds in time and if you can help in way, shape of form - myself and team would be immensely grateful.

We also have a long term challenge ahead of us. 

Without going into too much detail (though we are happy to share upon request) we also need to raise additional funds for our lawyer fees.  Were not going to pretend this venture has been an easy ride - however we are more determined than ever to ensure this projects stays alive and fulfils the next 6 years of our lease. To do this - we must sadly take action against the landlord who during the last 18 months has tried consistently to put obstacles in our way - but we have persisted and persisted. 

The last and final step is to raise these funds and act again this - we are in a strong position and with your support we would be eternally grateful - and by jeez, our Wonder Inn Ball will be fanbloodytastic!

As many of you know, we have held the most incredible, unique and diverse events here - and we will continue to do so.

We have had the pleasure of hosting the most charming and wonderful events - we have welcomed the elderly inside for warmth and company - we encourage the use of our workshops for artists who want to be a part of our vision and Kirsty has always maintained, discussing ideas over cost.. thats why The Wonder Inn and her presence combined results in this much needed Community Space.
