"The Unstoppable follows a young girl, Lottie, who is unknowingly battling anxiety and depression. She is overwhelmed by her feelings and the pressures of school. She struggles to deal with the feelings that she cannot seem to control, feeling of one minute thinking she can conquer the world and the next feeling like she doesn't want to do anything. She reaches out for help from her friends, her family, and people in school, but no one seems to understand what she is going through as she struggles to understand it herself.  They all think it's a phase that she will outgrow. Her feelings are heightened by the fact that she is also being bullied for her looks. Her only respite is her writing and pet dog."

Sharing our stories helps us to stimulate our minds, fosters creativity, and helps us expand our imagination. The power that comes from sharing our stories allows us to heal, to reason, and to connect. This story, the Unstoppable was written by Julianna Greenidge when she was a junior in HS. The story began as an assignment in her English class in response to a question about Love & Solidarity. She chose to write about the friends she wished she had during a difficult time. The Unstoppable is a story about an eccentric young girl who is silently dealing with anxiety and depression. As she makes attempts to reach out for help, those closest to her don't notice the signs before it's too late. The story deals with issues surrounding mental health, specifically around youth, which is a growing epidemic not only in the US but all over the world- especially with all the negative news and access to information.

Julianna has spent the last couple of years developing this story, while simultaneously developing her skills and her maturity as a person and as a storyteller. Pairing up with filmmakers, justice workers, and community organizers (Cecilia Mejia, Gloria Daniel, and Dailisha Rodriguez), who are working with her to bring this story to life. Cecilia has worked with Julianna this past year to help develop her script and to assemble the team. She is the lead producer and non-profit worker. She is also certified in Mental Health First - Aid for youth. Gloria is the CEO of HEIC, is working as an Executive Producer on this film. She has extensive experience in production and running non-profit organizations. Dailisha is a life coach and the Executive Director of Hey There Beautiful, Inc.
