Emi's Medical Treatment

Emi Freedman, Jerry Pollack's partner of 20 years, was recently diagnosed with Stage IV (metastatic) ovarian cancer. In addition to use of conventional therapies, Emi has consulted with some of the most knowledgeable and experienced complementary medicine practitioners in the country. An aggressive program has been proposed, one that includes an extended IV protocol, targeted metabolic nutrients, diet therapy and much else. 

Unfortunately, unlike the conventional treatments, the complementary therapies have virtually no insurance coverage, so it is all out-of-pocket. And because of the intensity of the program, it isn't cheap. 

This campaign is a way for all of us who have had the great honor to know Emi, and who have been amazed over the years by Jerry's seemingly endless energy and generosity, to offer something in return. We all know that Jerry does what he does for the love of it, not for the money.

The goal has been set high, because the longer and more aggressively these alternative therapies are applied, the greater the probability that she achieves a complete response.
