Therapy for Luke

Hi, my name is Olivia and I work at Vinny's Deli in Wallingford, CT. If you haven't seen it on Facebook yet, we have a dog named Luke that comes to visit us for an hour or so every couple of Saturdays. Luke is a beautiful all black German Shepherd who has degenerative myelopathy. I have such a soft spot for all animals, but was especially touched by Luke. Throughout my entire visit with him, Luke kept his happy smile and soaked in the attention. He has this special presence around him, just one look at his cute little face and your whole day is made! I was talking with his owner, Renee, and I know Luke's therapy sessions cannot be cheap. That's why I want to help.

One thing I have learned from Vinny is the importance of community. Vinny goes above and beyond for our community and the surrounding ones, which is what inspired me to make this. Money is never expected, but I thought that if anyone did want to help Luke after hearing his story like I did, they should have the spot to do so.

This is not an easy obstacle for anyone, but Luke is so strong just like his mom and dad! With our support, he will continue to beat odds. We love you, Luke!!
