Who We Are
TheRadicalAgeMovement (RAM). RAM is a 3-year-old 501(c)3 all-volunteer nonprofit based in New York City. Our goal is to create a national grassroots effort that challenges traditional notions of aging.
We are currently building an intergenerational movement dedicated to confronting and eradicating age discrimination and its impact on older adults in all areas of cultural, professional, and community life.
What is Age Justice?
Through our newest initiative the Rally for Age Justice, we are calling for a national movement to confront ageism in all its forms.

Principles
WHAT AGE JUSTICE FIGHTS FOR
· Respect for people of all ages.
· Uniting all races, genders, sexualities, religions and other social factors that have divided us.
· Undoing the shame, hurt, and internalized bias we have about what it means to be old.
· The dignity and well-being of frail and disabled older adults.
Providing support with respect and dignity, without diminishing their other fully human capacities that can benefit our society
· Our fair share of government funding
· To exemplify the community we seek to build and maintain: one that replaces ageist myths with the solidarity, respect, and love of people of all ages, sharing our gifts of collaboration, common purpose, and regard for each other’s well-being

· Workplace discrimination that is turning more older adults into part of the invisible poor.
· Ageist bias in media.
· Inadequate government funding for senior services.
