Let's Help Pitt Out!

Pitt needs our help! We're still a little unclear as to what exactly happened, but we do know that he was beaten to within an inch of life and left for dead. And we do know that is complete and total bullshit. He is definitely getting better, the prognosis is a full recovery, but he is absolutely looking at months of rehab and physical therapy. This is all time he most likely can't be working. Coupled with not having insurance our goofy nerd friend could really use any help we can give him! And though Pitt is a person who is loathe to ask for help, luckily he has me, a mercenary of a best friend who is not above asking for what is needed.

So why should you give to Pitt? Not only is he smart and funny and sweet, he is the kind of guy who makes friends for life. Why? You will never meet anyone faster with the appropriate Futurama quote for the occasion. You will also never meet anyone with such strong opinions about which beers are "garbage" and which ones aren't. (Hence his 10+ years behind the bar at the Hopleaf.) He played D&D every week, read comic books and laughed at anyone who ordered a cosmo in one of the world's best beer bars. He also bends over backwards for his friends so its time we do the same for him.

We would prefer cash or personal checks to save on the fees from the website. I'll happily meet you in the Chicagoland area to pick any donations up. (Just text me or Facebook me or figure out if this site has a messaging function or find any of the vast majority of Pitt's friends who know me.)
