Theodore Whitehurst was the world's greatest husband, father, son, brother, cousin, grandson, coach, musician, and friend. On April 13, 2019 he unexpectedly passed away in his sleep at the age of 37. He leaves behind his wife Katrena, their 3 daughters Precious 13, Pashion 10, Paris 8 and his son Theodore Jr. 4. Theo made a connection with anyone he came in contact with, his love and compassion for people was indescribable.
We are raising money to not only help with the funeral cost, but to help Trena and her 4 children (one being special needs), to not have to worry about the financial burdens that come from this life-change. Theo and Trena just purchased their first home and a new car in the last few months. The financial support will give this family the security they need to move forward as they continue to carry out the vision that Theo started.
Theo loved to work with the kids in the community, teaching them basketball skills and life lessons. He coached for the Bethel Rec Center, and was very active in the Bethel School District as a volunteer. He also was a great musician that had an amazing gift and anointing every time he played. He also started a food ministry feeding the homeless and sharing God's word.
