Together we’re a writing partnership; Sophie Soanes and Dipo Ola. We formed XYXX Productions with the aim of working collaboratively on projects such as 'The Night In Question'. 'The Night In Question' is a play based around the topic of consent. It aims to shine a light on how encounters can spring everlasting change on people and the lengths people go to in order to breathe new life into their world, or keep the hinges on the skeletons in their closet firmly shut. To be staged at the Drayton Arms Theatre, the play is currently profit share, with 100% of all predicted profits going to the performers. But the reason we are fundraising is to help tide the costs for the production side of the run, including rehearsal space, to bring this play to life. So to conclude, we’re asking for donations to help bring this important story to stage and we are also inviting you to join us for ‘The Night in Question’ on at The Drayton Arms Theatre, April 2nd-4th. After a successful first encounter, Grace has brought Leon back to her apartment for what proves to be an eventful night of firsts. The thing is, Grace remembers Leon, but Leon doesn’t remember her or the fact they’ve ‘encountered’ each other already. All they know is that they are faced with an undeniable, familiar connection, forcing them to confront the person they have spent many years running from… themselves.
